This abstract botanical is inspired by the beautiful Checkered Lily flower. Its proper name is Fritillaria meleagris. I have been fascinated by these flowers ever since I saw Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s botanical illustration of them and was surprised to spot them one day growing in Glasgow’s Botanical gardens! 

This is a giclée fine art print from my original illustration. Printed on Enhanced Matte Art paper. A premium quality heavyweight (200gsm) fine art print material with a gently textured matte finish.

Print sizes include a 1 inch white border. Each print is signed and titled by me.

    Packaging:

    Prints and paper items will be carefully rolled in a tube or in a flat mailer envelope.  It is recommended that, if rolled, you lay the print out flat for a couple of hours before framing.
